Wiring new gauges.

I'm adding a couple of gauges to monitor my new supercharger and thinking about the wiring.
It appears I need a "ignition switched" 12V source and also a "dash lighting" 12V source.

Where's the best places to take these?

 

Cargo light connector behind the driver side cubby is a good place for dash lighting, you can get a harness that just plugs in line with that and not have to worry about cutting or splicing factory wires. That connector might have the 12V ignition switched power as well

 

Interior fuse box fuse tap or available location.

 

Ahh yes, I didn't realize the fuse box was down in that corner close to where the gauges will be.
What if I want the dash lighting power to be dimmable with the rest of the dash?

 

You tap the dash illumination wires. Use the "left of steering" one.
