    I’d go cheap.

Won’t hurt as bad when they get filled with dirt/ spilt on

    See that's what sucks.

The 4R and Tacoma headunits had Android Auto/Apple Carplay; this headunit doesn't so I can't utilize navigation on my headunit but yes, I will use it for nav in the meantime.

As for accessories, both Delta VS and Wit's End cover accessory add-ons that work on both the console and as factory-part replacements.

Time to order more stuff amirite

My only gripe is lack of fast-charging for some. I'll see what I can find.

I guess it's more a matter of "where should I install it?"

I'm thinking maybe using one of the two slots on the Delta face plate and using a Wit's End plug there.

I guess the boring answer is, "wherever its both convenient and not annoying to use."

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Damn, this thread went long fast.

I’ve got a 96 and a 97. One with a 6.5 Detroit in it and the other getting a 12V Cummins and NV4500. If you need parts I have more than a few laying around. The 6.5 turbo has 17” steelies from an FJ and 37s, no spacers. Not sure on the Sequoia but the FJ are 17x8.5”, all the others are 17x8 steelies. If you mount tires yourself you are good, but otherwise a tire store won’t mount a whole lot on 17x8s. Staying at 33s though you should be good. Crazy progress already. The center console is amazing.

    Long time no see :fistbump:

Damn, a Cummins? That's going to be fucking sick...you better tag me once you get that going.

Tire replacements are in the backburner since my tires still have some life, so I'm doing what I can to make the interior 'comfy'.

Loving the center console, but now I'm looking at goodies to fill the slots with!

    Well, another order placed :anonymous:

Ordered a Wit's End plug with notch, that allows a usb cable to feed through. The plug will be threaded to allow a Ram 'B' mount

Also ordered a Ram Mount phone holder.

For the accessory slots, I got a Blue Sea dual USB charger as well as a Voltmeter so no more blank spots.

    Can't wait! :angrygirl:

    Right?!

I'm over here kicking the idea of replacing the front seats with non-OEM :anonymous:

Of course that's just an idea...

Weathertech front mats arrived. Was afraid that they would clash but the new interior components really tie it all in.

The grey variants are way too light and would've looked way worse.

Was considering adding wiring to the new outlet, but knowing me, that wouldn't suffice.

Then I considered a single zone Blue Sea fuse block, but that's overkill for a simple 12V socket or two :annoyed:

So once my Wit's End plug arrives, I'll just disconnect the factory socket and if I wanted to add more, I'll go the fuse block route. No intentions of running a fridge or anything.

Be curious to see anyone's Blue Sea systems if they've got one.

Re your seat...Found someone who makes mounts for 1st gen Tacos to fit the Scheel-Mann seats so I emailed SM today, if I snag before you get a new drivers' I'll let ya know how it goes. Looking into one of the vario models.

    Oh hell yeah.

Buying just one bracket and seat won't hurt the wallet if I don't love it in the end. It's buying a pair that'll hurt a bit more.

That way my wife could try it out too and see if she likes it or not.

Not cheap but its literally where we spend the bulk of our time in the truck. Id rather cut corners in other areas.

Washed the LC yesterday and even though it looks quite a bit better, I had a little 'oops'

    20220206_155920.jpg

When I was drying the thing, the sleeve of my hoodie caught the edge of the driver window trim. It was enough that I accidentally pulled it up and broke whatever remaining tabs there were.

    20220207_130217.jpg

It's alright, just have to wait for Partsouq to ship the new trim I just ordered.

Just realized my Uniden has self-tapping screws so I went ahead and just bolted on the mounting plate to the rear of my center console.

    Just a quick one-minute job.
