Airing down and then back up is a chore as everybody knows. The systems they sell are outrageously expensive. Built this unit for cheap and bought a Smitty bilt 2781. What a huge difference!20220302_184248.jpg 20220302_184256.jpg 20220302_184310.jpg

Toyota should have given us central tire inflation.

That's a pretty cool idea. Have you measured the individual pressures in each tire after airing up or down? Are they all the same? Also could you post a pic of what you used on the tire end?

Do you find yourself deflating/inflating often in your stock Tacoma?

how much was this? I only paid $50 for my ARB deflator and I’m finished with all four tires in a manner of minutes.

I agree! For a 40K and over truck it should have come standard! They know they have a superior product. If you compare the creature features these trucks have with similar manufactures Toyota is way behind but they know were still gonna by em

Thanks! I have been going down to 20 psi for the terrain I have been taking the truck off road on. All four tires wind up at the same psi via my gauge cluster. I went with the AstroAI chucks but i wish I would have gone with the Hatecs. The AstroAIs are a little big for the mag style rims my wife 4runner has. I got all of my ideas from Youtube and watching what the other guys are using on the trails. Let me know if you need any other info

I had some left over air fittings from house projects but if I had to buy everything new it would have cost me around $100.00. Do you have to deflate you tires one-at-a-time and wait until they deflate? I just hook up the air chucks to each tire, open the valve near my hood, wait until they are all done and then remove the air lines from my tires. I have managed to screw my back up too many times over the years so only having to bend over for a second to install and remove the air chucks is huge to me.
