Good deal going on these freezers. I have had one for over a year and have loved it. The on board battery is a game changer. The onboard solar controller is sweet too.
Saw the 52qt and 42qt versions are $300 off with the Amazon coupon.

I’m sure that’s a great deal and a great product, but it’s kind of apples to oranges bringing it into a topic on a deal regarding a different freezer.
Far as I can tell those don’t have a built in lithium battery and don’t have an on board solar charge controller.
I liked it especially because I could have it in the truck for camping, but where it really shines is at picnics and parties or the beach where you would like to have it on site but not near your truck.
Like I said, not saying this one’s better or fits everyone’s needs perfectly. But it fit mine well because I didn’t want to be tethered to my truck or to have to buy and lug around a separate portable power supply.

Ahh shoot sorry I didn't read the description of that LiON product in your original link. My bad, I thought it was just a regular 12v fridge. Kind of an interesting all-in-one product if you like that arrangement.

No worries at all! Just wanted to make it clear in case anyone was interested, that way they could see the differences and apply what’s best for their use.

Very interesting. How long does the battery typically last?

Been waiting for the ICECO deal, but doesnt seem that will be coming along.

I’ve ran it overnight with no issues it has an eco mode that helps preserve battery life. I have a 120 watt solar panel I plugged in at morning and it runs it and fully charged the battery for the next night with no issues. I don’t think I’ve ever ran it all the way down on battery since I would normally have the opportunity to charge it in the truck bed while out and about or on solar. The cool thing is if you want to buy a 2nd battery it’s not integrated so you can just pop another in if needed.
My only negative point is the compressor is on top and makes for an odd cavity under it in the freezer which sometimes makes it awkward to get food out. If they put it on the bottom it would have made much more sense.
I’ll say that this is the absolute best price I’ve seen on this one since I bought mine.

Also this may be a silly question but it comes with the battery right? I see they give the option to buy one so I am assuming thats a spare or do you have to buy the battery as well?

Yep, it comes with the battery! But no solar panel.
