I spent a whole night just ripping around the dirt track on the west side of the map. Going through my rally built cars seeing which I liked the best. The little Pulsar GTI-R is fun. I usually use the ST185 Celica though.
I had to return to the G29 wheel because the adaptor I ordered split. Should have got the billet aluminum one instead.

Have you noticed an unusually low amount of online activity? I can get in "The Eliminator" and it fills up with 45-50 people but if i'm just buzzing across the map, I might see 3-4 people on the map.

Compared to 4 it's really bad. It localizes the map to a small radius so you only see people that are near your position and even then I think I heard that it's limited to only a dozen or so. I think that's why most who want to convoy up have a meeting spot.

Hmm. Could be. I havn't jumped in on a convoy yet. Just finished up all my street, cross country and dirt races. Doing some of the story stuff. Mostly just bombin around the map. Not much into the drift stuff but damn, I sure miss my wheel.

I usually just cruise the map, I've completed all the races and some of the stories. I like to hit the big bridge on the south and the tunnels in Guanajuato.

That GTI-R is a great rally car too. I really like the Hoonigan Escort 1800 with the widebody. Super fast and super stable.

Added you as a friend. Also started FH4 back up. I really like that map. Also like the fact that I can see everyone on the map. Driving with the wheel doesn't feel as nice but there's a few cars I like to drive that aren't in FH5. I never got to finish the stories and races because I got 4 late and then 5 came out and I shelved it.

What's up guys, thought I'd bump this thread and see if you can help with some hardware recommendations. I'd like to get my feet wet and am looking at some entry level dd kits, any input on these based off your experience?
    Fanatec CSL DD , Moza R5 , Moza R3 , Cammus C5
These are the 4 I'm learning more about, all are direct drive, but open to hear if you have any suggestions or recommendations. I'm new to this. I like the Fanatec set the best so far as it gives me what I want to drive in RaceRoom with the benefit to upgrade to the 8nm power supply and can add other brand shifter/handbrake down the line if I get more into it. I will be playing at a desk, no room for a full cockpit right now. With that, the Moza desk mount is supposed to be much more sturdy, not sure just how much of an impact that'll make. Any input you may have would be great
