  3. 9.4-10.25 in

  4. 10.25-11.5 in

Exactly. This is the only reason to put on a Lift, to fit bigger tires.

That makes no sense. You don't need a lift to fit larger diameter tires and while a lift doesn't increase the minimum ground clearance it increases the ground to truck clearance in many locations (e.g. front skid, hitch receiver, frame, transmission, transfer case, etc).

Can you provide a picture or something of what to measure? The lift all came with its own parts ie: it wasn't pieced together.
Just trying to learn and fix this truck so I stop having this desire to sell due to the cap clearance. Thanks for the help.

You're good bud, trust but verify. Yes it's 9.25".
I may just have to change my coil overs because the ground clearance is making me want to sell.
I probably do need help figuring out a better setup mixing coilovers, spacers etc to get the highest ground clearance possible without changing tire size

I have never been involved with installing it designing a lift bracket setup, but my understanding of them seems to be sound. So if someone has additional knowledge that confirms or conflicts with my understanding, hopefully they can provide additional insight.

The blue dimensions are the lift parts that should be the correct length to measure. The red dimension is the ride height length of the shock/spring assy. The blue dimensions for #1 & #2 should be the same (or very close). Measure dimension 1 from the center of the upper bolt head to the center of the lower cam disc. Since the lower bolt is inside of an offset alignment cam, it can be at various positions with a Delta of ¾" or so, so measure to the center of the cam disc, not the bolt head. Measure dimension 2 from the top of the upper flange on the spacer to the bottom of the lower flange on the spacer. Blue dimensions #3 should be the length of the stock spindle + the blue dimensions value from #1 or #2. Measure dimension 3 on the stock spindle from end to end and measure the installer spindle to the same surfaces. The upper surface will be where the ball joint from the UCA seats against the spindle and the lower surface will be the flat face where the lower ball joint assy bracket bolts onto the spindle. Red dimension should be the same or similar for a stock truck that has the trd pro shocks and springs. Hopefully someone can measure their own or knows what that should be.

I'll probably head down to a Toyota dealer and see if any of their stock trucks are running the TRD shocks and measure those.. There's also snow on the ground this week and I'll be out of town so I'll probably be able to get these measurements early next week. Hopefully this will tell if the geometries truly match up with a stock ride so I can start diving into how to increase the ground clearance and angle my CV's again

Sorry about the delay, it's been a Hell of a few months..
Anyways: dimension #1 = 4.5", #2 = 4.25", #3 for installed spindle = 24", #4 TRD Shocks = 20.25". Thoughts on how to gain any clearance besides lifting even higher?

If anyone can measure their stock spindles, I'd appreciate it.

To then put on an even bigger lift... to fit even larger tires....
