Sounds like an idler pulley to me. Take the serp belt off and spin them individually. See if they make noise or have any play in them.

 

Yeah was gonna say one of the pullies or maybe AC compressor pully. I have read the belt pullies are an easy job but definitely take the belt off and spin each of the free spinning pullies its most likely one of them.

 

Pretty sure the driver side will stop. Its the passenger side that needs to be a specific depth

Replaced this stupid vacuum line on the t case.

 

Wired in a trailer light harness, put new boards on the trailer. Productive afternoon. Lol.

 

Replaced the inner driver's CV boot since it was torn and throwing grease everywhere...what a pain in the ass.

My new-to-me Taco has been at the dealership getting some repairs done on Carvana's dime. Burn mark in the door, worn steering wheel, scratches in the passenger side dash, HU scratches, leaking tires. Went to see the progress this morning (they've done the first three, waiting for parts on the rest) and it's good as new.

 

Added more lights. Still need to cut out the reflectix for the window shades, and test fit my new foam pad mattress.

Last night I was running illumination wires to my 4WD switch if I ever decide to light it up and I was checking the wires for the inverter.
I thought I tapped into the negative for the inverter relay but instead I tapped into one of the power mirror wires.

I'll need to fix that but I ran out of the terminals I was using.

Note to self: don't do electrical when you are tired.

 

I went on a hunt for an electrical problem for it to just disappear.

 

Had my SR5 seats reupholstered! Had the bolsters built up higher and extra padding.

 

Can you elaborate on your light set up? Velcro and an basic led strip I'm assuming?

 

My favorite is when you test everything and the problem is gone... hook everything back up and the problem shows up a day later.
