The kit is pretty new. I am extremely interested in it so hopefully this thread turns into something

I was able to get this kit at a discount…just wondering if I want to go this route or a with an actual LT kit with LT spec coilovers

Have you looking into the JD Fab +2.25” kit? I’ve been very happy with mine. You can use OEM spec coilovers with it, too. You’ll likely lose about an inch or so of travel by using them though with either kit. I’m running 8” coilovers and JD’s bombproof 934 CVs to get all the travel and strength I can out of it.

I broke even selling my OEM spec Kings and getting 8” Fox, so that wasn’t really a selling point for me when choosing a kit, but I get it with shock lead times if you like shiny blue shocks.

Can you reference where you got the information that you can run oem spec coilovers with jd fabs kit? In their advertising they only state 8 inch universal coilover.

I also am curious on this info. JD was my preferred way to go since they also move the wheel forward a bit. Main reason why they aren’t my top choice right now is strictly due to the lead times on King/Fox.

I can get a TC +2 expedition kit with Radflo coilovers and triple bypass in 12 weeks

I got 8” Fox coilovers from JD in about two weeks peak rona. Not sure about bypasses.

JD is the absolute best to work with, too.

That's what you're told but lead times tend to be rough estimates right now. Best to find a vendor with product already on order or with stock if you're not willing to wait.

It sounds like your desires are a bit scattered thought. Your asking about the Camburg kit due to the convenience/price, prefer the JD kit based of performance, yet are throwing in the TC kit with Radflos and bypass??? What are you trying to achieve in the long run and what is your priority?

let’s just say if all 3 kits were right in front of me available off the shelf - JD Fab would be my choice. Main reason I’m attracted to it is the sealed uniballs and the movement of the wheel forward to help clear the cab. Camburg has claims it also does this but idk if spending the same coin on a pseudo-LT kit would be the best option

I know! Now that it’s confirmed that it works with EXT Kings there might be a new order coming in lol

This would be cool especially because of the long lead time on coilovers right now. Didn’t set out looking for long travel but need new ucas after some hard wheeling told me spcs wouldn’t be the best choice for me, and what I want to do. And figure I might upgrade now instead of stock width replacements. Your kit and camburg are the only I am considering due to not using poly bushings in the lcas. So smart what you have done there instead!

I believe the Camburg kit does this with just moving the uniball forward and leaves the factory lower pivot mounts alone. The weakest part on the truck. This is where every body should start. Regardless of who's arms you use start with JD's LCA mounts. Then you might as well just do every thing else from JD.

Everyone does this on there LT including JD. JD however does offer the lower pivot upgrade separate of any LT
