Right on. Just offering up a solution for the rack to tailgate interference.

I’m not a Ridgeline hater. Don’t care for the aesthetics myself, but my old man is on his second one. He loves them. And he’s put his through more work and shit offroad than most of the mall crawlers on TW. It’s a solid vehicle, even if folks choose to hate on it.

Back to tacos/bikes/racks. The 1up is the crème de la crème of tray racks. It’s one and only shortcoming is that secondary security is needed, assuming the user deems security a necessity.

Yeah… the Ridgeline isnt for me either. But when we (my cycling group) travel for rides it has some advantages over my Tacoma. More room in the back seat for passengers, more bed space just to start. My buddy who owns one has said more than once that when the time comes, he will get another one.

    You arent there. :D

"Too many" is an asymptote. You get increasingly close, but never actually reach it.

Todays ride same place as two days ago I posted above. Same windy conditions but much warmer at 78°.

So I’ve been pretty into biking this last year. This thread has helped me greatly and I’ve been riding my local trail almost weekly. It’s about an 18-mile loop from my door. Anyway, yesterday I went to the local bike shop to buy my kid a bike since she’s been due, and while there my wife and I glanced over at some bikes and told her to get herself one. She was so excited. My wife hardly ever treats herself. In the evening we went for a ride near some paved trails as a family and it was so fun for all of us. She’s excited to hit park of the dirt trail in the near future. But she’s no risk taker, so flat trails it is for now.

Sounds like great family fun! My wife couldn't care less about bikes. You are lucky!

From Wilder to the fun stuff at UCSC. Never a good sign to find that I have no front brakes at the very top. It made the fun stuff way more interesting. Backcountryj, I think this happened also when we were showing you around the Pinhoti trails a few months back.
    Taqueria Vallarta was well deserved.
I should've done the quick bleed BEFORE the ride.

Buddy got a new bike with a red Lyrik and didn’t like the color

lucky for him i had the exact same Lyrik in black. So did a swap and think the red works perfect for this bike
