I installed a muffler and pipe on my 2012 Tacoma, pulled from 2021Tacoma.
Lengths are all the same and hangers lined up easily. It’s nice and quiet.

The only glitch is it rattles on bumps/dips. This stems from the front pipe only having 1/2” clearance from the frame cross member.
I’m thinking the best fix is slightly longer rubber hangers to lower the whole thing. But would love to get the experienced opinions here at Tacomaworld.

    Thank you

did you reuse the stock rubber hangers? if so then maybe the metal arms on the pipe are too short so you would need longer rubber hangers

Yes I used the stock rubber hangers. They all lined up easily.
They are approximately 1 3/4 from hole to hole. I’m thinking if I replace them with 2 1/2” hangers I should be golden.

Ive used these in the past on a car. The stock exhaust hung too low so I replaced the stock hangers with these and they worked great.
