Forget the name of the air filter housing tool that I have, but that, Toyota filters, and Kirkland oil.

I use the Toyota aluminum filter housing (15620-31060) and a Fumoto 133S...the MotivX tools are worth their weight in gold.

    Toyota filter with Mobil1, too

I dont have a 3rd gen. But for my tacoma and the runner I use the Fumoto Valves. I like them. No problems to report and my oil changes take all of 4 min now.

I've heard good things on the Fumoto Valves, but I'm still riding on the covered costs by dealership... (un)fortunately.

Gonna squeeze ever penny out of that for now before I make the change myself.

Same. Longest part is draining the oil. Time to casually finish a beer and get another one for the fill process.

    I had the 103 before...the 133 has a larger bore and drains noticeably faster...about half a beer.

I changed my oil between the "free" Toyota Care changes at 5 and 15K, then put the Fumoto on at 25K.

Thanks for that add-in - I edited because I put 133 as a few of the homies are using it, but I realized I have no knowledge of others to really be able to compare.

Point still stands though, that's where I've heard the positives - believe it's a bit shorter too for "low clearance vehicles"? Could be wrong there.

Yeah, the 133S has a shorter nipple than the 103 by about 1/4", but the 103 was still nicely tucked up in the RCI skid...other than the larger bore, I had no real reason to change it other than I could.

People who complain about the slow drain just don't appreciate working on their own vehicles

Yeah exactly. I pop the valve go inside hangout come back out. Close the valve pop off the filter. New one on and fill. So quick and easy. Only tool I use is the filter wrench now and no mess anywhere.

Does anyone have a recommendations for a dog seat cover for the back seat?

I got the Rough Country neoprene set, and they do a good job of protecting the seats from Mutt paws without taking up all useable space in the cab - plenty of Carhartt fans out there too, but they fit a bit too loose for the price, IMO.

Customer service was ass, but the price and product ultimately have left me happy about 6mo later.

I do not recommend the front seats, however. @Atl-atl took those off of my hands, and he was getting hot up North and took them off. Glad I never tried to keep them for here in Scottsdale.

If you have the fumoto valve threaded into the drain plug hole, do you unthread the fumoto every time so you can remove the filter housing? Or do you have an open wrench for the housing?
