As gas is $$ these days and already making it north for the cleanup I am planning on continuing some exploration / camping following the event. Providing my current project doesnt blow up (figuratively and literally) I will be able to make those extra days work easy.

This trip will be lighter duty on the wheeling (likely?) and can be kept stock friendly. Temagami is probably the furthest north that explorations could go.

    Rough Itinerary
    - Sunday may 15th afternoon, leave Ardbeg and head north and find a new campsite (SE area of HWY 69 and 522)
    - Monday 16 - Tue 17 exploration and camping fishing
    - Wed 18 - Return home

    That's a great idea Jason!

We were thinking of doing a camping trip to Little McDougal Lake mid April and gas alone was going to be $220+ round trip. If we continue from Ardbeg, it makes it worth while.

I've never fished before, so I'll just be spectator haha

Yes, this is well worth the effort. My wife and I love swimming at this beach.

Not only is this place amazing to camp at, as you continue down the road the lakes just keep getting more and more crystal clear.

This lake is the amazing, it is not called Emerald lake for no reason.

Canoeing, Kayaking, fishing, swimming. Well the swimming can be a bit hit and miss, as all these lakes are spring fed, that is why they are so clear. They can be chilly early season.

Another nice camp spot and beach to swim and fish at that is not as far, just inside North Bay city limits.

    I swim here regularly

Some of the guys camped here last year when they came up, and loved it.
