It won't squeak... Murphy has a law about it.

Mine started squeaking recently, 3 trips to the dealer and now waiting on parts. They want to replace booster, pedal, hydraulic lines etc...

There’s a TSB to have this fixed.

ETA: maybe there is a new one. This covers up to 2019 I guess

Had the same thing on my 2009 Base but I traded it in before getting it fixed and figuring out where it was coming from.

WD-40’d the hell out of everything in the cab down by the pedal. Think it was actually coming from the clutch assembly itself.

I've done the grease application a couple of times & it has worked well for the squeak & clicking.

I had the TSB done for the replacement on mine a couple of years ago that fixed the squeaking issue for now. If/when it comes back again, I will be resorting to the grease alternative.

I installed the kid mod and suddenly the least of my concerns is squeaky clutch pedal. Bout to x2 on the kid mod FYI

My 6spd Frontier is pretty great, a lot of that is to do with the 4.0L, gearing and dual mass flywheel. Roll on the throttle and the power is right there. Never feels lugged down unless you push it below idle.

In contrast, my apprentice has a Subaru WRX. Can't lug it at all, it bucks and shudders horribly.

What’s everyone’s shift knob setup? My stock knob is starting to break down and leave rubber bits on my hand now that it’s warming up.

Will the 2nd gen TRD shift knob fit my 3rd gen? Should I replace the collar with a 3D printed one off Etsy?

My son, who has a Barcelona Red AC 2009 4.0 6MT, bought a Number 7 Pool Ball and had it drilled and fitted to be used as his shift knob.

TRD Knob and just remove the existing plastic ring and invert the top of the boot and secure with a zip tie to expose some shaft

Just short of a year taking delivery of my truck and my biggest regret is that it’s an automatic. Anyone wanna trade?
