Haha I've got my hands full of other projects and too much wood in my garage to be doing something like that!

The power flicker was enough to kick the air compressor off but not the mill computer. It must have been one side of the 3 phase, which I don't understand at all.

You ever milled copper? If so, any suggestions, tips or hints?

The plasma table is just now starting to earn it's keep.

    Thanks for the tag.

I'm not completely done with it yet. Still need to get my Zee axis to move up and down properly.

It work pretty good for simple things like my retro Toyota signs, but I have to watch it closely to avoid tip ups.

It is a time suck, but it's a fun time suck.

I might as well thank you all that bought my signs.

    Thank you.

Yes. High speed end mill, lots of coolant/lubricant. Machines a lot like aluminum.

I have looked at them and yes they do ride rougher.
They offer superior traction, however from what I have read some mower manufacturers aren't 100% endorsing them due to the increase in shock to the hydro drive system.

The zero turn I had before the one I have now kept having flats on the small fronts, I got some of those no flats on sale and never again. It would beat you to pieces.

By the way, if you are mowin' along, singin' a song and knock a rear
tire off the bead on a zero turn at full speed you immediately make a hard turn in the direction of the flat.

It might have been a neighboring industry that blew a transformer fuse. They boom pretty loud.

Industrial applications will usually have 3 transformers, one for each phase, close to the service entrance, each TX has an individual fuse.

Flat tire story; after first getting my DL or even before, while riding shotgun with my cousin Jim, he would often swerve to smash a grapefruit or orange in the street, sometimes even a sack (think fast food litter-bug), anyways sometime after getting my license and buying my first car ('74 Camaro) I swerve to hit something in the road....looked like a box....yeah piece of wood with a nail in it, put a hole in my tire AND.. it threw that piece of wood up and rupture my gas tank:frusty:

A co-workers wife didn't bother to swerve for an object in the road -- she thought she could straddle it, with her Grand Am...

Well, seeing as the object was roughly the size of a microwave oven, it didn't quite go as she planned.

Big crash, big cloud and a butt ton of dash lights came on, she figured it was ok to continue on as work was only about 10 miles further.

She took out the AC condenser, radiator, engine oil pan and fortunately the transmission pan.

When the car quit moving she decided something might be wrong and shut it off. $125 tow bill and about $1000 to replace the broken stuff and she was back on the road.

He married her for the measurements not the IQ...

Looks like our RAV4. Storm didn't produce enough rain to wash it off.

Nothing like getting a flat 30 something miles from the nearest road, and like 200 from the nearest tire shop:

This was a fun fix, low car in the dirt and all. Surprised they made it all the way up there on street tires.
