Here is a post I made with pictures of how I installed them and a little more information:

Lots of good info in this thread:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/install-heated-seats-3rd-gen.546859/

Most people pull off the factory seat upholstery and install the heated seat elements, but I wanted to install mine in the seat covers for ease of service in the future. So far I am super happy with them. I use them almost daily as I'm on the road before sun-up each morning.

Here is a link to the kit I used:

I just got done with a road trip using the Clazzio PVCs. I'm brutal on the truck on road trips. I track mud, sand, donut crumbs all over the interior, plus three mutant shedding dogs in the backseat who are also tracking their share of mud, sand, and donut crumbs.

A quick vacuum and wipedown with leather conditioner, and they look good as new. That was so much easier than my previous routine of vacuum, vacuum more, use tape to pull up dog hair, break out the bissell green machine, then vacuum once more for good measure.

I got my delivery from RC but it came a bit too late for my vacation road trip. I'll have to install them and figure out once I'm back.
