Picked up a 2022 TRD Off-road a few weeks ago. Looking for a low profile bed cover that works with the factory tie downs (do not have to cut or mess with the tie down clamps at all).

Id like a Truxedo LoPro but I’ve seen mixed posts on here about whether it works with the factory tie down clamps. Does anyone have any experience? Also, does anyone have experience with the MX4 or Leer H650? Apparently, those may leave more room for the clamps than the lo pro

The Leer HF650 is a great cover but the factory tie-downs do not work without modification, you need to replace the knob to make it work. I have the HF650 and I like it a lot. It fits my needs and I like the 4-panel design. There is a thread on the 650, link below.

The factory tie-downs work fine but I never really liked the way they work with hooks on ratchet straps. I ended up replacing them with come climbing anchors from Amazon and t-nuts from Hondo garage.

MX4 works with no modification, the rails are relocated lower during installation.

Whatever you go with, give Luke at truck alterations, @truckalter a call or email. Very responsive and good prices. I have purchased 2 covers from him.

Thanks for the recommendation... appreciate it!

We carry all of these lines and can help with pricing on any of them...

You might want to throw Lomax in the mix for a look... we are selling a ton of them to Tacoma owners because of the ease of install with the rail system and the Lomax not needing drain tubes is also popular.

Before I got my topper I had the MX-4. It was a great tonneau cover, I liked that it was a hard tonneau but could be folded out of the way as needed.

Thanks everyone! Does anyone know if the tie downs will work with a Truxedo lo pro?

I have no experience with the Truxedo Lo Pro, maybe call truxedo and ask?

The truxedo low pro works with the factory tie downs. Fits on my 2022 trd pro.
