First and foremost, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! :oldglory: and Happy Birthday!

    • Personally, I wish I had researched the dealerships more before placing my order (I anticipate arrival early February) Looking at customer reviews on Facebook, Google, Better Business Bureau (BBB) is a good idea. Look at the low ratings as I think a lot of the high ratings are plants.
    • Decide what you want to do with your vehicle, how you will use it and what are your must haves
    • If you are not in a huge hurry, don't settle for less than what you want.
    • I think if you are financing it, you should shop around before going to the dealer for it. As a serviceman, you may find better deals out there (credit karma may be a good place to start).
You are in the right place to research this!

Selling my Tacoma after 3 years in a few days. I have followed this site for a long time, but never needed an account. I just created an account to sell some of the parts I’ve had in my garage that I’ve never installed.

    Thanks!

Hi Everyone, my name is Joseph and I just recently purchased my 2022 Super White Trd Offroad, before this I had bought a used 2018 Barcelona Red Trd Sport, it only had 30,000 miles. I've owned it for 6 months before it was side swiped. I'm glad I joined and can't wait to mod my truck and check out the site more.

My name is Kim , I have a 2002 Tacoma pre runner with a 2.7 four cylinder engine. In working maintenance for Los Angeles School district I’ve put 326,000 miles on the truck. Just stock, nothing fancy. Have always loved the truck. Pleasure to drive. I bought it with 27,000 miles on it. I Like the body style. Retired now and I don’t need or want a new truck. It’s still in good shape. I Plan on fixing this one as things go wrong. I joined this forum because my pilot bearing is very noisy and I need input on what I should do at this point. Wondering what damage I’ll have if I just ,run it, like it is- noisy!
I know that if I pull the trans to fix the bearing I’m in for a new trans. I’m just trying to prolong that.
Oh ! Also . I can overhaul a motor but I’m Not a techie . So if this message ends up in the wrong place I’m sorry. thank you

Hey - my name is Paul and this is my first Tacoma. I have been lurking for a few weeks reading everything I can. I was very excited last week to find an available BC SR5 DCSB at a local dealership that was due in about 4 weeks. When out of the blue this morning another dealership I had been dealing with called and let me know they had a ELM Pro that had been sitting on their lot for 2 weeks. They had been asking $7500 over MSRP and had no takers. They just lowered it to MSRP with no stupid dealer add ons and wanted it gone. So to say the least I couldn’t pass on that deal. I had to literally speed the whole way to the dealer to beat another customer who was also interested. Luckily I got here first and I am now the new owner and I couldn’t be more excited.

Hello everyone my name is Michael. I am a long time lurker who finally decided to join the conversation. I inherited a 2000 Tacoma about 4 years ago from my father. It's a 2WD 2.4L automatic that my father bought for retirement. When he gave it to me, it only had 78k miles on it. I think he washed and waxed it more than he drove it. I swear it still smelled new. It now has a tad over 126k miles but I still baby it as he did and have replaced all the wearable parts within the past couple of years with the help of this board.

I am a year into my first Tacoma. I now have time and money to start to really make her mine. My mods will be moderate because she will remain my daily driver. I can’t believe how much I love my truck.

Hi all. New member. Been lurking for a while getting ideas, etc. Thought it was about time I joined. Thank you for the add. Bought my '18 SR5 a year ago. Initially had no plans to modify it but I can't leave well enough alone, lol. Starting out with some minor, easy mods but have plans for a 2" OME lift, front and rear bumpers and some lighting. Not entirely new to the Taco world. When I was 22 I had purchased a brand new '86 SR5. Loved that truck. I gave it quite a beating but I was always chasing bed rust. Unfortunately it didn't survive the tree I stuffed it into when I got a little over confident on a snowy road. I guess at 56 I'm trying to relive my youth, lol.

    Hi,
New member and new 2022 TRD OffRoad owner coming from a diesel Gladiator Rubicon. Enjoying the truck so far and already have a few upgrades on order for the near future. Mostly going to be used to pull my SXS, and did it better than expected pulling the 2000lb buggy out to uwharrie the other weekend. Looking forward to meeting this new community!

Hey guys! New Tacoma owner from Philly here. I ordered a 2022 TRD Off-road in Army green back in January and finally picked it up last Saturday. I know it hasn’t even been a week but I’m in love with the truck.

    Hi everyone!

I'm a freshly minted owner of a '22 Off Road DCLongBoy and a longtime owner of a '96 regular cab. I'm still getting used to driving a limousine and I'll really miss driving stick but I'm in love with the truck so far. Just waiting to get through the break-in period before finding out what it can really do >: D

Wussup y’all! I’m not a new owner or member but this would be my first post in this dope forum. Bought my 2019 Tacoma trd pro new back in October 2019. Purchased to primarily haul stuff around and kept it stock for a year. One it’s 1st bday I ended up falling in love with dirt and off roading at Hollister hills, ca. The biggest money pit but can’t put a price on adventures and memories.
