I purchased this harness from Amazon. Does it look correct for a 2021 non-JBL head unit? Obviously I'd need to splice into it to make it work (as long as the plugs are the same. I'm looking to add a kicker key or maybe a audio control lc7

    Thanks for any answers

I’m not too sure what this is. But it sure seems like the rear view mirror plug to me.

The colour codes look correct. I think the best person to give the correct information would be @caribe makaira

Hmm.. That would be odd. But, when you buy stuff on Amazon it can be a risk

I just cut the middle and soldered each side to the amp wire (input output) then plugged one end into the head unit and the stock plug in the head unit to the output side. My amp sits behind the dash under the head unit so I d didn’t need to extend but yes you can

Are you cutting this harness to extend the length or to tap into other wires? If so, which ones?

The harness is cut in half to allow an amp or processor to be put in between the headunit and the factory wiring. This allows upgrading without cutting the factory wiring and not having to run new wires to each speaker.
