Warning mild rant. My recent experience with "Gazelle" and "GadgetGone" (Spring 2022). My research shows they are both reputable tech resellers (phones, laptops, tablets). I have done business with "Gazelle" in the past.

February, March-ish the Gazelle website said upto $282 for an Apple 12.9" 2nd Gen iPad Pro. OK I bit. I sent my lPad to "Gazelle" for evaluation. They came back with a value of $65. The review made it sound like a POS ("Screen Doesn't Fully Light UP", "Scratches", etc). I was worried they had dropped it and then stepped on it. I called, we talked. Regardless, in the end I said no thank you, send the unit back. I got the iPad back and it was my unit. Verified by SN# and visual inspection.

I decided to try "GadgetGone", never say die. I sent the unit in and after a few weeks I find this e-mail in my inbox. I have no explanation for the difference in Benjamin's.

We'll be sending your payment of $340 today. You should see your Amazon eGift Card in your inbox by the end of the day.

    Thank you!

Wanted to echo this and share my experience with GadgetGone. I sent them an iPhone that was in perfect/mint condition so labeled it "flawless" in their system. Have heard numerous stories of people sending in devices to these type of companies and having them end up saying the rating is lower than you thought it was. That wasn't the case for my trade in, and they agreed with my "flawless" condition. Ended up having the paypal deposit the next day and am pleased with my experience with GadgetGone.
