    @CS_AR

Is it really hot or humid out there?

It's been pretty warm here during the afternoon but should be cooler next week.

    Never needed to

BYU is a whole new level of bizarre and the whole soaking thing just shows how bonkers they can get.

    It’s a long story.

Brigham Young. Cotton. Blah blah blah.

In our oh so fragile culture these days, I’m not surprised they changed the name. Can’t be rustling any jimmies.

UPS guy didn't believe me that my 5 gallon bucket full of 3rd member was heavy and chuckled when I asked if he was sure that he wanted it on the counter. "yea, up here"

his older coworker went to pick it up and couldn't so he just said "65 pounds" and they both started laughing

You need to do a lot more cutting than I do, I remember your fence.

A 4AH battery will do way more cuts than I ever needed to in one sitting, and the M12 is stupid light.

If I were in your position, I'd definitely opt for a full size and go corded.

Its not the longevity Id be concerned with. My buddy comments about how my old skilsaw has way more power than his battery one. Chews through knotty big box lumber store boards with ease.

I think I bought a corded craftsman circ saw on sale for $50, I rarely build anything so I didn't want to pay more than I needed to for the DeWalt lol

$50 circ saw > $100+ cordless circ saw

Theres not much to these tools. No need to spend more than necessary.

My point isnt about the money, its about paying more for a lesser quality tool. Why limit yourself to only cutting a few 2x4's at a time?

I couldnt care less what you do. Im just curious if the Milwaukee fanboy mindset has caused this decision or not lol.

Talking about need on a truck forum is funny

I don’t NEED a corded worm-drive skil-saw, but after using them professionally as a framer, I sure as hell want one!

Was put in charge of these 4 enlisted kids today to do equipment inventory. I say kids but I’m ~5 years older than them. Feels like a larger gap.

170+ cuts on 2x4, not sure I'll even come close to 20 at a time.

As for the 'Milwaukee mindset', it's the whole being on a battery platform I already own. There were maybe 3-4 instances per year that I wish I had a cordless circular saw, mainly out of convenience. If this serves that convenience even once, then I got the benefit I was seeking ;)
