"Calling all Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice..."

I don’t think we have one, not for Toyota’s anyway.

 

Anybody have anything good or bad to say about Venice Toyota? Going in on Wednesday for a possible (probably impossible) Tacoma get.

 

I’ve worked with them before trying to get them to locate a manual trans cement double cab. Guy I was working with said he found one and it would be there in two or three days. Long story short, guy strung me along for a week before his final email to me after trying to get him to respond for days was. “It’s in gods hands now”. Vowed never again to even give them a shot at giving me a price on a new vehicle. The guys name was Ralph. Even more greasy than most Toyota salesman. Most Toyota salesman are scum. But this guy takes the cake.

 

Well that’s great, you always hope you can run into a non-shitty dealership. I appreciate it sir, I’ll be sure to give that one back to Ralph if he gives me a shite deal.

 

@radclerk1 Do you have a recommendation for a dealership around here?

 

My best experience has been with Autonation Toyota of Pinellas park and Gettel Toyota of Lakewood.

Going to lift my truck and install uca in a couple weeks. My last truck I could never find anyone that could properly align my truck.always tracked badly on the road.
Does anyone has good experience with lifted alignments around our area?

I'm still up for Taco Tuesday somewhere. Or something else. It would be nice to meet some local folks with good taste in vehicles.

 

I'm also a new Tacoma owner. This is my first truck it's pretty awesome!! I am down for a meetup and also quick questions on leveling kit;

1) Any recommendations on where to have the work done? I live in Ruskin to the tampa/sarasota area works.
2) Is this going to give me problems at the dealership when I get maintenance done? The truck is brand new.

 

I have a 6 inch BDS lift (I know, Boooo, grrrr, yuck, go to Hawaii) with 34s. Last week I had a leak from a cam seal. They liked my truck and didnt say a word about anything. I think as long as the broke stuff is not from the accessories you are good.

 

We need an isle of Tacos at the next Cars and Coffee in SRQ. I miss having truck nights around here.
