    see,
hmm, are you sure? @Diode Dynamics I have a pack of M3 .50 pitch screws (and matches my pitch gauge)
The DD on the left and the M3 on the right.

I don't know if this has been covered, but does anybody have a recommendation on a set of security bolts/nuts for the SS3 pods? I found these that seem kinda pricey, but cheaper than losing your lights. I learned about them from a YouTube video. Youtube University! Are the nuts the correct size? Tufnuts 5/16" nut, washer and 2.5" bolt.

I went ahead and took a chance that these would fit. They arrived today. They definitely fit.

Received and installed a new set of SS5 Pros with 4000K emitters and clear spot lenses. These things are rad.

Ss3 sport fogs, pro drivings, and just picked up a 30" bar and slapped it behind the grille. Switching to another grille so the bar wont be half blocked.

I am thinking about adding SS3 Pro's in my "ditch lights" location, but use these as spot or driving lights. Is there a big difference in the light spread between the two configurations?

Its pretty noticable. Spots take up maybe 3/4 to a whole lane each, drivings probably do 1.25 of a lane each, so they light the road and distant shoulder quite nice. Sure theres technical measurements out there but thats my best description.

What about the overall throw? Do you think that is limited by the driving pattern? Or will it not be very noticeable during real world usage?

Let's start with something more basic. What are you looking for from a set of lights? The answer to that question will help us answer your original question.

Honestly with pro drivings, they probably throw a mile in total which is more than enough. Spots were cool, but I'd want like 4-6 of them to cover the same ~3-4 lane width that the drivings do.

Has anyone seen a vehicle with red, white and blue backlit DD's mounted on the roof? I could have sworn I've seen one where the backlights were those colors and it looked amazing! I believe it was SS3's but can't remember the vehicle make/model. I was trying to find it to show a buddy since he is looking to do a roof rack light setup on his Outback Wilderness.

When it comes to the fog lights, the sport model in particular, do you guys really have the light pattern they show in their ads?
