I am hoping for suggestions on lightweight enclosed trailers, something to pull behind a 05 Honda Civic and in future a 2015ish Honda CRV.
I want to use it when my wife and I go on road trips so I dont have to deal with the Tacomas not great gas mileage, we already have pets which take up the entire Tacoma cab and bed, with future kids there won't be enough room for passengers and cargo.
What I really want is a old 4x6x2 Uhaul trailer but Uhaul doesn't sell them, bastards.
What I like is the small foot print, low height, and roof cargo basket.

I dont want a fiberglass one since I dont know how well it may hold up to abuse/ease of repair of cargo area. I also want to have a rear barn door instead of only having a opening top since luggage gets heavy.
Ive found a few options that would work but none are great, hopefully people here have some insights.
http://www.smallcargotrailers.com/trailers.html - The vacationer, not big enough and no rear barn door.
    http://www.mgstrailerstore.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/MPT-Wells-Cargo.pdf - MPT461, no longer in production.
https://spacetrailers.com/configurator-page/configure/4576/ - This is my favorite but its one foot longer then I like and it would be around $6000 out the door.

    Carry-on trailers, makes an enclosed 4x6. https://www.carry-ontrailer.com/cargo-trailer/4x6cg/
Aluma, used to make a small enclosed. think the model number was AE46. I have their 486 open trailer and love that little thing. Granted I did get the optional removable sides for it and the bi-fold ramp. Also did a 2" lift as it sat really low to the ground.

I had forgotten about the carry on trailer, due to the five foot height I am worried about the the wind resistance behind the civic drastically reducing the mpg, If I were going to pull it behind that tacoma that wouldnt be a worry.

The Aluma looks nice, I'll look into it, only negative is I would like a rear swing door to load/unload these heavier bins.

Canopy, fitted seat covers, OBA with self leveling air bags, 100w solar, dual Rhino Rack Pioneer platforms, side & rear LED work/FU lights, CB, cell booster. 7x16 cargo conversion, 3" lift, 7'x6.5' fold down aluminum rear deck.
Not sure if they still do, but Haulmark use to make 4x6 trailers with a low height, swing door, and lift up top.
Pretty much the U-Haul trailer but the roof lifts up to allow easier access towards the front.
