Sliding delivery schedules create crazy anticipation and general annoyance.
    • My shed kit was supposed to be delivered today (ordered 4/11). I got an email yesterday saying it was now next Wednesday. I had anticipated a delay, but it was nice of them to reschedule to a day I can't do it. I pushed it to Friday, so we'll see. I went to get stone delivered for the pad I'm going to build and the earliest delivery date was 5/17. Oops.
    • My new lawn tractor (ordered 4/20) was a 1-3 week delivery and next Wednesday is week 3 so we will see what happens. Of course, getting a bagger or mulching kit is impossible so I'll be dragging my Mom's lawn sweeper back and forth each week which is going to be amazing. :eyeroll:
    • My QuickJack was supposed to be shipped last Monday and I just got an email today saying that there's a tracking number. Not from QJ, mind you, but the shipping company. That's a 5/11 to 5/17 delivery window.
    • I've got (4) diecast cars in various states of shipping / delivery.
    • We are also entering Week 3 on the Jeep in the body shop. That's ultimately fine because it is what it is, but I was anticipating getting it back the end of this week. I had them repair the front bumper damage and a few door dings, so that will be nice to see. Then it has to go back to the dealer since it's super low on coolant and it has a nice coolant burning smell that's going to be fun to fix. Luckily I have Maxcare so I should only be on the hook for a $200 deductible.
I do have the electrician set to get my new generator interlock kit wired in with an exterior plug on Friday, so I'm excited about that. I just need to start breaking in the generator.

I’m super excited to get the shed started and built so I can get my garage back. I’ve got it set so all everything fits with the Vette and Tacoma, but I have to unpack so much stuff to get things out. This will solve that.

Anyone know the reason you can only add 3 people to a pm? Makes organizing anything more difficult than it needs to be.

20-22mpg on a guess. I didn't track is specifically, but each time I put gas in the Miles to Empty number was higher. Cruising at about 75MPH steadily really helped.

I'll do a more complete update but today's trip was 754 miles and took about 13 hours. No major hold ups, so we made good time.

I'll just mention that Texas drivers drive like madmen (and women). 75MPH was the minimum speed on the Interstates, using directional signals apparently is a sign of weakness. I had to bump my cruising speed up to 78MPH just to avoid getting run off the road.

Oh, we saw one pretty serious accident in the outskirts of Dallas (Hunt County). Everyone was walking around but the cars were 50 feet off the highway in a grassy area and about 30 feet apart. One was a sedan and the other a small SUV of some kind. No "Is my vehicle totaled?" question need be asked. Seat belts, airbags, and modern car design saved the occupants.

Makes me yearn for the stone age. You could walk out the front door and find everything you needed just laying around.

Yes, bands are cheap and you can put them over your back and the ends under your hands for pushups with resistance, get a thick one and put it around your neck and under your feet and do like a 2 or 3 second drop into a squat then the same up, banded pull apart, banded curls...

I'd just start off with something that's not going to kill you( though I fully support going out and straight destroying your body cause I'm dumb and fully expect both my body and organs to limp on and die like a shitty car In a movie juuust making it to its destination) maybe 50 of each in sets of 5 or 10. Then start adding intensity, something like 3 or 4 rounds, 40 sec of max work at 1 exercise, 20 sec rest, rotate to another exercise and repeat until done.

Another idea, burpess. Do 100 a day. You could obnly do burpees and it would be good. An easy way to tackle mentally is start with doing 4-5 every minute, use remaining time to rest. Build up and then just start doing 100 for time. No thinking involved, "easy"
