I know the T@cotune spacers are 1", but I want to add another 1/4" with mdf to clear a Morel 6x9. Is there enough from to the door panel to add another 1/4-3/8"?

    Thanks!

Morels will fit with any generic Toyota spacer. If you’re looking at crutchfield, they have the mounting depth wrong for all tacomas

The Tempo 6x9 show a mounting depth of 3.35". I've read that the backspacing in the door is 2.25" + 1" (spacer from *********) is 0.1" too deep.

If you use foam tape on the front and back, you’ll be good.

    TBD
I will be doing this on mine as well. I have the same speakers but just havent taken time to mount them yet. I have 1" spacers with foam to use. Id like to have the TT spacers since they are made better but dealing with them an communication with them is not great.

Wish someone on here made some spacers as nice as the TT ones
