You wont need the Diff Drop, that is for the front..

I run the 112's with the same rear shocks, no issues.. I would recommend the greasable pin kit for the leaf springs... I run Wildpeak's also, 285's though.. but I also have Dobinson's in the front

Thanks for the advice! I can't believe I didn't notice that about Diff drop...
You think that front set of dobinsons is what gives you the room to fit those tires?

I had those prior to my lift but I did have to cut my bumper... I wanted to do the viper cut anyway.. So that was done before the lift

Picked up this Wednesday. Very impressed with the build quality. And happy to have it after the long wait and debating on going through with buying. More adjustments needed on interior setup and the plastic drawers were a temp solution in my previous fiberglass camper. The various attachments on the SP are extremely helpful! Mostly using stuff already had. Letting the mat sit overnight and taking out tomorrow to get out of this heat.

Disappointed with the clamping system but I’ve seen a couple of solutions. I’m not trusting what they used to be able to handle the way I usually drive on washboard roads.

But, I’m going to test this out for a month and decide whether to get an SP for the Tundra and sell the whole rig. Don’t want to, just not financially responsible to have two built out trucks in my case.

Hi! Considering X1 for my new Tacoma. Is the tent module removable? I’m wondering if there is a way to remove the tent and replace with a simple rooftop panel, basically converting the X1 into a standard canopy shell. Thanks!

Negatory, but it’s basically a shell if you don’t build out downstairs.

Wasn’t expecting this right away…yesterday after letting the exped sit for 24hrs I messed around with opening and closing and had issues with getting the exped compressed enough so I pulled it out and it easily closed.

went for an overnight trip to test things out. In the morning, tried squeezing more air out of the exped but wasn’t closing. So I pulled it out, thinking no big deal I’ll eventually figure it out. Still no closing. Panels were seated properly, tent tucked in. Then I noticed the bolt on the gas strut brackets was resting on part of the edge. You can see where it’s causing damage and it’s happening on both sides. Tried to see if I could shift things but was t going to force it to close. I’ve emailed SP….

I zip tied with 3 on each side and slowly drove down the mountain.

cant hear because of the wind.. but the pump doesnt kick on instantly anymore. It drains from the accumulator tank first, then kicks on the back fill. Saves water with the aerator and helps prolong the life of the pump as well as not hearing it kick on constantly with the accumulator. I can also get it down to a trickle without the pump kicking off/on in short bursts.. or also called pulsing. Super satisfied with the setup.

SP replied quickly. Rubber Mallet added to the tool bag. Tippety tapped the extrusion in the pictured area and it’s now closed with the deflated exped in.

Thanks DCGirl for the update. I’m going to add a rubber mallet to my tool box before I pick up my SP on the 31st.

Just got my production email! Was originally set for pickup by Oct, but now it's looking like possible pickup by July.

Just in time for summer! That's gotta be a nice surprise.

Their IG recently said lead times have now dropped to 5 months. With GFC down to 3 months as well now I wonder how many Vagabond customers are jumping ship. Their lead times seem to be going the opposite direction.

    Yes.

Now have the same in the rear L59-112-R as your plan (L59-111-R + Dobby AAL).

Did the front with following to help with balance:
Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Front Struts for 2016+ Toyota Tacoma
ARB2885 OME 885 Front Coil Springs for 05+ Toyota Tacoma (Pair)
TT05514-TPS HS 1/4" Top Plate Spacer
Strut Assembly Assembly of the Front Struts and Coils at 0 setting

Changed to a longer rear shock, stock ones seemed to top out with the increased suspension height.
Bilstein (24-186728) 5100 Series Shock Absorber
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BYNJ93Q

As noted, no need for diff drop.

Tires (and oil) are a personal thing like underwear. Trying out E's for winter and summer sets.
I think they're better for durability and will ride more firm for the added weight, will see.

edit - Recall measuring 80# per steely wheel/E tire vs. stock wheel/tire 50#.

You should check out a D rated tires. I have ran E rated tires forever.. and recently switched to some D rated 35" Mickey Thompsons.. the ride is noticeably better with the softer sidewalls compared to a E tire. I wont run C rated tires.. they just dont work for me. The D tires are perfect for our lighter trucks imo. I'm even on the heavier side of the Taco spectrum (6200lbs dry).. and they are enough to hold the weight without the roll/soft feeling.. and not uncomfortably stiff if you dont want to air down and hit some dirt.

Yeah I had the same problem with mine last year, and I wouldn't be surprised if all SP's have a little bit of the bottom extrusion gouged out by the top gas strut mount. I'm a bit curious why SP hasn't changed the strut mount design by now to avoid this issue with new X1's. Seems like an easy fix, and its very frustrating for us when we try to close it the first few weeks.
