Just worked for me; I was about to complain about the shipping lol. Hopefully their out the door shipping speeds are good. I want to get this here by next week at least.

 

Code worked for me as well, ordered Thursday 5th and ups tracking says on time for this Friday.
picked, packed and shipped from NC to CO works ok for me.

 

In case anyone's curious, confirmed code still works for free shipping. I think it's pretty cool that they do this.

have you tried those rentals when you did the job? By looks of it I think the bearing and race installer would work but I didn’t know if the bearing puller would fit to removal the needle bearing. I mean it might but just wasn’t sure. I would hate to buy these tools for one time use so I’m looking to just rent some tools at autozone to do it

 

is it normal to have a seam on the inside?

 

Check your local BS thread and ask if anyone has one that you can borrow. Most are willing to lend or rent for a lot less than purchasing.

I don't recall if mine had that or not. That wouldn't stop me from installing it though.

 

it has a slight catch to it when you run your fingernail over it. i'm just reminded of those massive boat engines that would come to a halt because of a slight offset or imperfection. it required an experienced tech to find the bind point and tap it free with a little hammer.

 

only pics I can seem to find of mine are during/post install. I do not see the crease.

I vote to call and ask them. They have good customer service from what I remember.

About to order the tools and the bearing to do mine at home. Have you got yours done? I'm on Maui

 

Did you end up buying the bushing and tools? I looked and it was around $130 for the bushing, install and remover tool, plus 62$ just for shipping to big island.


edit... just looked and if you change the shipping to ground instead of 2day air it looks like it applies the free shipping

 

I did buy it. The free shipping only applied to mainland. What I did was ship it to my parents in Vegas for free and then have them ship out to me. Lol it's literally an 8"x8" box. If you have a mainland connection, they could repackage it in a small flat rate box and send it to you. You'd save a bunch on shipping. Idk why they charge so damn much. I just lifted my truck yesterday. I still have to do the diff. Drop. I'll do that today and get an alignment hopefully by Saturday. Follow me on IG bro. Elsa_TRD
