So I have a Base tacoma. About as bare bones as it comes. A/C and an automatic transmission. I really want to keep it because it was my uncle's. But I need a bit more oomph out of that little 2.4L. Is there ANYTHING I can do to boost the power or torque? Both is even better.

Also what would be involved in a transmission swap? I want my manual back. I hate automatic.

    Thanks.
