Installed my "new" seat belts and buckles.

Sent my existing retractors and seatbelt assemblies into seatbeltplanet.com for the driver side to be re-webbed and for new buckles and receptacles to be installed.

This was all so that I can get a different style of seat belt receptacle to mount to my seats. These are mounted with a cable to the eyelet, so that they are flexible. The OEM ones that I modified to work were jammed up against the center console to the point where I couldn't slide my seat forward and back very easily.

There is now plenty of room to spare between the receptacle and the console. The driver side belt retracts a lot better now. The existing webbing was super dirty which was inhibiting the retractor functionality.

Also helped my buddy out today with installing a GM master cylinder on to his new rig and get his trailer and tow rig more dialed in.

Rubcion was a great time with @Tof-Corey & @Dan8906. Only carnage was an ITR and OTR on Dan's rig and a front CV on mine.

We also got some cool footage that I'm working on editing together.

Here are some photos I took

Thanks! Always a great time out on that trail. Caught the perfect break in weather too. Rained the weekend before and that weekend just after we got out.

It's been raining every weekend here and only on the weekends :frusty: glad the weather and truck held up! Maybe one day I'll throw gears on my truck and actually wheel it.

Dunno about Idaho, but I can't complain about rain too much because we really need it over here. Trying to get it all in before the innevitable fire season starts.
Always good to have the taco in the back pocket though for when you wanna mix things up from the Ford!

I put together the footage we got from the Rubicon into an edit. Turned out way better this time since we had more than one camera and a lot more footage to work with.
Covers a good amount of the trail too. Starting from loon lake all the way to some obstacles on the tahoma side.

Skip to the middle ish to peep the carnage

CV carnage. Blew up the cage in the outer joint. Surprised it lasted as long as it did being a parts store axle.

If my old wheeling rig doesn't sell by the end of August I'll start parting it out. Including the RCV's. lol

About time this sucker showed up.
Probably won't get to installing it until after this summer or so.

3.5in tubes with 1/2" wall. Grade A beef. Shouldn't be bending this anytime soon.

My one concern with the install is the amount of additional lift it might give me due to the larger diameter axle tubes.
I'm gonna have to do some measuring on my current housing and compare to what this setup will be. Mainly the distance from center of the axle tube to the top leaf perch mounting surface. Might have to remove some leafs from my leaf pack or something to compensate if it's a noticeable difference. I don't want anymore rake than I already have.
