Look into Bahia grass. It's what road crews throw down after a project in the southeast. Zero maintenance, drought tolerant and grows in the worst quality soil. Best of all, it spread into thin areas after a year or two.

I've heard that Zoysia (sp?) is also one that looks good and grows like a weed.

I would probably go with Bermuda. Get a pallet of sod from a local stone and turf place and put it down. There are different varieties of bermuda, so just show them the picture and ask what they would recommend. You'll get to see how well it does. Once established, it can be incredibly hearty. You can get blends of Fescue that look similar enough to Bermuda that you can put down anywhere the Bermuda doesn't survive. When we added a fence, we essentially blocked the sun from a 6' strip in our yard. The Bermuda didn't get enough light and died. So we seeded with Fescue and you can only tell when you are standing in very near proximity. The only downside is that many of the weed killers that are safe for bermuda will kill the fescue. So I have about a 6' x 12' area that I just hand pull the weeds. Thankfully, it doesn't get that many.

I was looking into putting down Raleigh St. Augustine back at our last house in Texas because it was more drought resistant than other varieties. I do love a good St. Augustine grass.

I'm clearly channeling my inner Hank Hill this morning.

Turkey is always one of my favorites. I do it up on my smoker all the time. Easy and cheap.

I think the turkey was better than the brisket fresh, but I brought half of it home. Re-heated the brisket was damn good.

They have a pop up Wednesday at NODA brewing.

Been a while. Hope everyone is going well!! Sweating my ass off right now trying to get these wheel spacers off from the previous owner. Anybody have experience with this or can recommend a shop that can help me out? I’m not sure how to get those bolt off inside the spacer / not sure if they even need to come off.

6pt 19mm (or 21mm, can’t remember) deep socket should do the trick. Depending how much torque and loctite was applied when they were put on could mean they are gonna be a PITA to get loose.

Not sure im understanding the question. Remove the nuts on the studs coming off of the hub and spacer comes off. It doesnt come off its likely seized to the hub(if hub centric). If its seized to the hub persuasion will be necessary

Yeah those aren’t hub centric. I’d be quite worried about the lack of thread engagement on those nuts.
Need to get those spacers off asap

Impact is the easiest if you have something with the balls to spin them off or take a pry bar and place it between the studs and braced against the ground to keep the hub from rotating while you work at them with a breaker bar.

Unless those are some special deep nuts there’s hardly any thread engagement, looks sketchy to me, wise to take those spacers off.

Rear is easy just pull the ebrake.

For the fronts I’d recommend an impact or a long breaker bar to wedge between the studs and the ground.
