Pro and Limited have bi-LED headlights in 2021, the rest are low-beam only. In 2022, all models have bi-LED. See this post for more info.

You can ignore the shutter control wires if you want and order the adapters without them. Or have the wires and then add a harness later, it doesn't hurt to have them. Dave is also working on a PnP harness for them to make them even easier to use.

The T4R LED lows with halogen highs + the HIR high beam upgrade is excellent. @mynameistory setup is just over the top adding the LED high beams as well. Definitely something I would do myself, but I like over the top in lighting. :D

Got tired of looking for the Korean made Osram 9011 bulbs. Ordered some Philips 9011 bulbs from RockAuto. I was surprised it was made in Korea. Last batch of 9011 bulbs I got were made in Germany. From your pics, the Philips look identical to the Osram. IMG_2704.jpgIMG_2705.jpg

In absence of the Korean Sylvanias I would recommend the Toshiba HIRs that have the spherical bulb, still available under ACDelco. But that is interesting the Philips are now made in Korea as well, and appear to be a true HIR.

They are supposed to be diode dynamics partners which is a reputable company

I’m nearly certain they are relabeled Chinese Vland. Form is a sub-brand/company of Diode Dynamics for a lower cost tier imported Chinese lights to somewhat compete with Morimoto’s sub-brand GTR Carbide lighting, which also uses lower cost tier imported Chinese lights. Vland products won’t be on par with Morimoto’s headlight assembly offerings from Taiwan made by COPLUS, much less Toyota OEM. I believe Form was going to test the assemblies for compliance and possibly tweak them as they saw fit, so there shouldn’t be the product performance defects sometimes seen by value brand Chinese imports. I haven’t personally tested them.

they look imperfect so I’m not sure if it’s a big deal

Because of the scratches on the glare cap coating? It won’t affect the bulb or performance.

    thanks!!

it was only like $7.50 for that set on Amazon so I kind of figured I might as well give it a try regardless but wanted to know if it mattered on the glare cap

Good score. Not sure why Amazon has them so ridiculously cheap. The glare caps on them sometimes peel which isn’t ideal, scratches won’t help that. But I’d run them without hesitation.

Upgraded to OEM LEDs today. These came from another ORP, and don't have the 3rd pin for the shutter.

Nokya Hyper Yellow 9005 bulbs. They had planned to produce 9011 hyper Yellow, but I don't think they ever released any.

@daveeasa Your harness made installing the OEM lights a breeze. Quality adapter, and I was surprised how quickly they made it across the country.

Looks like the passenger side is a little higher than the driver's side.
