To me it sounds like a maxtrax clone trying to get sales with the "made in the usa" sticker . And with all the guys saying Treds has a lifetime warranty... a warranty doesn't mean shart if they break when you need to use them . That's like a cop saying "I carry a highpoint pistol because they have a good warranty " warranty doesnt mean shit if your dead

Well that escalated into life or death quickly! Report of the actiontrax breaking with a gx470 using them for the first time. Apparently they are one of the first batches and actiontrax is using different material now. If the price difference is only $40 I am going with proven maxtrax

Lol I was just making a point . You shouldn't ever buy something based on warranty alone . Buy based on reputation of a durable product. Dont be cheap on stuff that will be important and last a long time

Action tracks showed up from morris4x4.. yeah found out after I ordered they have a sketch history, and F BBB rating.. the deal was hard to pass up.. $244.99 per pair + free shipping of the metal teeth boards.. snapped a few pics before running off to mothers day lunch.. standard beer can for perspective.. these are HEAVY.. although not much more than standard maxtraxx.. probably similar to the metal teeth maxtraxx..

Soo I finally ordered the maxtrax mount pins, and the kbvooboo bracket for my bed rack.. the good news.. the spacing works on the max modular brackets.. the bad news is the maxtrax extreme 40mm pins work.. but can only hold 3 boards, not 4.. thinking I need to modify/make custom pins.. with a longer bolt, and maybe spacers.. have to see if the pins can be disassembled without breaking them..or go with another securing pin/bolt setup..

Maxtrax extreme mount pins work great & holad all 4 boards.. the regular pins could only hold 3..20220531_175235.jpg
