    Just looking for some positive vibes.
    Divorced for a few years now... ex is threatening to move my children across state lines against our cour order parenting plan. I do not consent, and now we will have to go back to court.

    She is going to paint me as this horrible father becuase my teenage daughters didnt want to live in my house, becuase they didnt want to follow my rules... and she harbored them in a pot smoking lawless house.

    Now she wants to move an hour away (vs 10 min now) to a pot farm in Oregon, with her felon boyfriend who was convicted on multiple counts of drug trafficking here in town several years back.

    I really don't want to do this, but I gotta look out for my kids. Talking to lawyers now... fuck me man...

    Frustrated, mad, sad, angry, wtf, confused, why wont she just not do shit like this...

    Oh look, another mod....
    There's your remedy right there: The court system. She will be in violation of a court order that she agreed to. That should stop her. If it doesn't and she choses to move the kids, she will be in violate of said order and also subject to arrest.

    She will lose custody of the children and they will be placed with you.

    Also, remember: Teenagers don't always listen to their parents. Did you listen to yours when you were that age? Sometimes kids have to learn the hard way.

    A bit late but seems to me you need to get with the attorney general of your state and have a lot of evidence and proof of what you’re stating. Hiring a PI to get pictures or whatever you need to do.

    Find a good EXPERIENCED lawyer and tell him the details of the original order and the new details of the crappy environment, etc. If he sets it up correctly the court will likely not approve of the move "in the best interest of the children".

    Follow up for everyone who read this... she talked to an attorney and they were basically like "Uh no, you cannot just move your kids based on the agreement you both have in place."
    She got pissed and said she was taking me back to court to reevaluate child support. I said "cool".
    Then I told her she can pay me for the several years of health insurance premiums she hasn't paid on, oh, and I will request your tax records of which you havent filed for in several years.
