Will this Rear Suspension Setup Work?

I’m looking to increase rear travel in my 2010 4wd Double Cab without breaking the bank. I’ve read a lot of posts running Bilstein B110 extended travel shocks and “the Dakar OME leaf pack”. In most of the posts people reference the $500 price tag of the leaf pack.

What is the correct part# for the leaf pack? I’m seeing part # EL111R in the $280 range. Is this the completely wrong part? It seems so cheap for an entire leaf pack. (See below). Will this part work with the Bilsteins?

I know I’ll need extended brake lines and bump stops, just making sure the leaf pack is correct. Thanks!

You have the correct part number. If your looking to save money buy a set of 3rd gen Tacoma leaf springs and ICON 3 leaf aal. I pick up a set of 3rd gen take off for 100 and the ICON aal cost 200. So far the ride is better than the worn out leaf spring I previously had.

 

Thanks fellas. I’m back in the 4x4 game after about a 15 year hiatus! I had a 4x4 1999 Tacoma until about 2006, but ditched the 2 seat gas guzzler (when gas became $4 a gallon at the time hahaha!!)

I just grabbed this 2010 about a month ago. It currently has the regular length Bilsteins in front and rear but I think they were installed about 10 years and 100k miles ago….probably drained and dead.

The front actually feels ok but the back feels like a solid wooden axle on wagon wheels. Definitely needs more travel and springiness in the rear. My wheelin’ used to be blasting through the desert, but now I’ve got 3 kids in car seats/boosters across the back so I’ve had to slow it down a bit and not be so risky. Pretty strictly easy/moderate trails with some occasional obstacles to show off on.

Boy is it good to be back!
