I've seen threads for the longer wheel studs for the 6 lug guys but I'm curious if any of the 5 lug 2wd guys have installed longer studs and if so what was involved with changing out the front and rear studs? I have changed my wheel studs on my old 92 civic hatch but nvr did them on a solid rear axle setup. I want to do front and rear for peace of mind and in case I want to run some spacers in the future(my rear wheels are pretty close to the rear shock hardware). I've read that people have used the doorman 610463 toyota matrix studs and some other arp studs from lexus IS, Mitsubishi evo or celicas.

I looked up the wheel studs for 4x4 and 2wd 2nd gen tacomas and they are the same dorman #.

1st gen - it's got a built engine, a turbo, and waaaaaaay too much to list. 3rd gen - basic-bitch lift, S/C, Pro Wheels
I know this thread is almost a year old, but just to get the info out there.

Any lug stud that is 12 x 1.5 thread will work. I was in need of longer studs on my 2000 5 lug, and I found some that were way over kill, but did the trick. As long as it has the standard interference\press fit shank it'll work.
