Last question. Where is the outside temp sensor located. I know I’m wired for it

You maybe wired for it, but I don’t believe you can use the existing sensor as it’s for the AC or something?

I believe @Dm93 knows more about adding the sensor.

The sensor is on the center brace of the radiator support, all trucks have the sensor (it's used by the A/C Amplifier for ambient air temp although it's unclear in service info as to it's function)
It can only be used with the factory accessory meter, if you get an aftermarket Gentex mirror you have to use a separate sensor.

Somewhere around 09 is when the rearview mirror backup camera became an option (somewhere between 13 and 14 it was integrated into the radio display), I'm not sure what the last year was that the accessory meter was an option.

I just put in another center roof console from an 08 and Put the upgraded temp and compass screen/assym. I see I had to change the mode to 11 in compass settings guess I got to drive around now??? But wondering about temp display and any programming need for that don’t see anything yet. But I only put about 2 mins in to This so far

Not sure on that, the later model trucks (I believe somewhere after 08 but prior to 2014) had the compass/temp in the rearview mirror displayed on the same screen as the backup camera instead of having the accessory meter but I don't know the year break where that change occurred.
