Lately ived noticed my ac gets cold and warm air

Am i running out of ac freon preon?


Can someone reccomend a place for me to get it taken cared of

Haha not even sure i kn8w i have a extended warranty
I believe its either 60k miles or 6years which ever comes first
If im correct then yes i think i still have warranty for it

 

So my tacoma is at servco brought it down yesterday morning
Only in the afternoon they diagnosed it

Ac leaking behind the dashboard
They will need to removed the dashboard to get in
Parts is like 300 bucks
The labor is like 1,500 wtf

I asked him that should be covered by my warranty
Sir your warranty for your truck have been expired a while back

Im talking about my extended warranty
Oh you purchased extended warranty
I didnt see the sticker on your truck

Awright im glad my ac is working again
Specially during summer time lol

I drop off my truck monday morning
They said theyll give me a call when they are done with diagnostic
They called me around 230 pm
Wtf why so freaking late?
I drop it off in the morning
So they said theres a leak of the ac line
Etc.
The parts is about 300 dollars
But the labor is around 1,500
Since theyll have to get the dashboard
Out to get in to the ac?
And theyll be done with your truck

Doesnt my truck warranty covers that?

Your warranty will cover everything

They already calling my truck is finished


First he said itll be done wednesday
Thats before he even knew i have an extended warranty
Now im thinking if i did not have the warranty
My truck probably would ahve been sitting there till wednesday and pretend took them that long to fixed the ac

What do you guys think

 

Does your truck look like they removed the dash??
Maybe the leaks was actually a lose fitting in the engine bay? (Easy Fix)
I never get the extended warranty
But IIRC the guy told me that if I didn't use the warranty after the term, I would get most of it back?? Not sure if it still works that way?
I guess the main thing is that your truck is all good!

 

It doesnt looklike the dashboard havebeen removed but the middle console i think was removed
