Hey guys. I was up in the MT. Lassen forest area this past week. The area is green and beautiful right now.

    Heyo, newbie Taco owner here.
Last year I purchased a '19 TRD OffRoad and am looking for some Beginner/Intermediate 4x4 trails. What are some favorites? Just hot up Gold Lake 4x4 area this weekend and had an absolute blast with that terrain and trail type.
Based out of Chico, anyone else out here? [IMG]

I'm based in Oroville. I've heard of High Lakes, haven't explored myself. Frankly, there doesn't seem to be much feature trails around here other than forest service roads. Hopefully someone can prove me wrong. I usually head out towards Tahoe and Eastern Sierras.

Grew up in oroville and in paradise now. I have a few trails that are not roads that are easy and have a camp area that is in need of work frm public before the USFS shuts it down. The one trail out the back of west branch camp ground is great and short for the beginners. It's rocks and a bit pitchy for sure. I do it while drinking morning coffee headed to work if I'm in that area.
West side is full of trils that need work to. I know some camp areas to stay with water but closed to public at the moment. I work there so not an issue if with me. Cool light trails. More like old roads.
