(If there’s a better forum, point me to it)

I have a stock 2022 OR DCSB, no lift. I want sliders for 4 purposes:
    - functional as steps for getting into/out of the truck without sticking out too far from the sides
    - sturdy rock protection during light off-road, nothing too crazy, several times a year at places like Big Bend and Big Bend Ranch here in Texas
    - door ding protection in parking situations. I realize this may conflict with the first item above - where’s the balance point?
    - ability to jack up one side of the truck using the slider and a bottle jack

I think I’d prefer straight, no kickout at the rear.

I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts/ideas, brands you like/dislike and why, and pictures.

Find a local fab shop and buy there. Shipping sliders is very expensive.

I love my Cali Raised zero degree sliders.

If you are hoping to have a slider that doesn't stick out far from the sides, you will not have any "door ding" protection. The door of your Tacoma will be further out than than the sliders. If you add the kick out option, you have a slight chance of the slider protecting from dings but that is only from standard height passenger cars and only if you're backed into a parking spot. All SUV and truck doors are still going to ding your truck every time.
