Can you post an installed picture of these? I'm not OP but looking for some sliders that don't stick out far enough to land a plane on and these look like they might be the ticket.

These are from metal tech 4x4. Best thing is to find shops closest to your location and see if they have an option you like.

Sure thing, though I didn't realize this was the 3rd gen section when I originally posted (my bad)

@Mobtown Offroad Overland bolt-on. Zero degrees, w/fill plates and powder coating. Free shipping.

These are the real deal. You can jack up the side of the truck with these.

I'm curious why you don't want as much protection as you can get from your sliders? Who cares if they stick out a little farther? As long as they keep the trees off your doors. Or help you walk away from more.......

C4 Fabrication. I almost went with something lower profile, but these have come in quite handy for my kids and wife. Just gotta get used to getting to swinging your legs out wide during mud season.

Thanks- '57 3100 Step side, straight 6, 4 on the floor. Not sure that truck would've needed sliders. For sure it didn't need bumpers, those things were 50+ lbs of solid steel- slid up onto tall curbs a few times and couldn't even find the scratch. Made them different back then. Sometimes wish I'd never let it go, but wouldn't have a Tacoma for a family of 4 (plus dog) if I hadn't ... that's why its my profile pic- paid for a good chunk of my current truck.

Thanks this is damn close to what I'm looking for! Looks good!

Assuming you're referring to me here in regards to slider width. My very shortened answer is that I care if they stick out further and I am unconvinced that sliders will be the difference between life and death in a roll over situation. That being said that looks terrible and I hope you're alright!

Yea, sort of but you've already made the choice. I was just trying to point out to him (the OP) to not disregard any type that do stick out.

I walked away with a fractured metacarpal bone in my hand. Thank you, it could easily have been worse.
