How dare!! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!!
It would have been a challenge for sure. It maybe could have made it, but we would have had to do some clear cutting. More than we did to get the trucks through...:anonymous:

@stickyTaco did you install a roof vent in your shell/canopy/capper/thing that covers the bed? If so, any recommendations? Thanks.

Nope. It's just a leer shell...I'm considering selling and going with a GFC or some other clamshell cap so we don't have to share the trailer with the kids. At that point I'll be looking into ventilation options since I do get some dust in the back of the truck.

Anyone getting stir crazy yet? I know I am. I was thinking of July 20-23, or July 27-30 for a trip to Jarbidge. Leave Thursday morning, return Sunday afternoon. I usually like to do bigger trips in June because of fire restrictions, but I have a feeling the snow will still be around and access will be pretty limited in June, and I heard they aren't planning on blading access to Jarbidge from the south until just before the 4th of July. Base camp in Jarbidge canyon somewhere, day trip out. If you've never been up there, I believe it is the coolest part of the state and well worth the trip.

How heavy is the wheeling? I'm slightly built with minor lift, bumpers/sliders/winch. Probably not fit out for "crawling", but interested...

You'll be just fine, that's about as built as I am. We won't be doing anything crazy. I would say a stock truck with good tires and maybe some careful driving should be ok. Be sure you're good with brush scratches though, those are imminent.
Do you currently have a Falken sticker on your windshield?

From a few years ago up there.

i'll definitely keep an eye on my schedule as we get closer to this. One of my goals for this spring/summer camping season is to explore more of NV and Jarbidge area was on my list

Looking back through this thread always gets me wound up. Here are some shots of the jarbidge area from our trip... 11 years ago... Hopefully the silver and grey trucks can make it again. @la0d0g @samiam

Expand them, they're worth it. ;)

The silver truck needs some transmission TLC at the moment, but it would be great to get back up there.

No falken sticker. Do I have a doppelganger out there?

Would definitely like to get in on this. @la0d0g and I need to exchange delicious smoked meats at some point.

You sure do! I saw it again this morning. It's pretty close but I think it's a little darker and has some pretty wide wheels/ tires.

Can confirm, his smoked meat is on point!

That spot is tough enough to get to, it won't be accessed by many...
I would 100% live in the cabin at the bottom of that though.
