I have the Audew and a set of cables for backup. Im not sure why someone would stop watching project farm after getting a product that didnt match up with his test results though. Most of his testing is on 1 out of millions of that product produced. sometimes he will use a few of the same product in different tests, but it is always a super small sample size. With that being said, I tend to go with what performed best in his testing because it is well thought out, legitimate and unbiased testing. Plus his data driven approach is better than just anecdotes from someone with the same sample size as his.

I can understand 1 bad unit and would have returned it and got a new one to test. But Amazon no longer carries them, for some reason.

Also just got bored watching him. Lots of automotive channels that I watch more.

It has disappeared and come back more than once. I bought mine on eBay because it wasn't on Amazon at the time, a few months later I looked and it was back. The vast majority of products on Amazon aren't even sold by Amazon, its third party sellers that either pay Amazon to do the warehousing and fulfillment for them, or ship it out themselves. I don't consistently watch him, but I do keep a link to a google spreadsheet that tracks all his episodes. I try to pull it up if I'm looking to buy something that might be up his alley for testing. Last thing I did that for was string trimmer line in fact, and I am very happy with the Maxpower over the Stihl I used to buy.

I've used my NOCO on my truck and tractor multiple times with no issues. Very dependable.

I’ll buy a brand new battery or carry my cables before I spend $170 on a jump starter lol. Just checked on my Foxpeed G29 had not checked it in 5 months, keep it in the truck. Had 100% charge showing which I didn’t believe, turned on the led light it quickly went down to about 94%, typical behavior for li-ion batteries, left the light on for a couple hours and it went down to 84-86%. Charged it back up to 100% and it’s back in the truck. Had it over a year, got it on sale around $60 with accessories and charger. Have jumped cars 3 times and works like a champ.
If your jump starter is reliable then that’s what matters.

I’ve had a Noco fail on me quickly. I’ve also had a Gooloo brand starter work amazingly well over and over. Maybe luck of the draw.

Lots of talk about Noco. I have the GB70 with great success. Pricey but well worth it.
