    That's a horrible idea. What time?
    It looks like we're planning a trip to Big Bend this fall. Because of the complete lack of cell service and the proximity the southern border and it's issues, I want to add on board comms. To those with some travel experience, do you know if the NP's or locals monitor any of the GMRS channels and how I could find out? I will also be checking with my the federal agencies that patrol that area.

    Next. Looking at this because I can tuck the radio away out of view:

    I was going to say the same. If the goal is emergency comms, satellite is the way to go. Garmin mini doesn’t break the bank and will get the job done.

    Who needs a set of brand new Victory 4x4 LCA skid plates? I never mounted them and don't need them. $120 you pick up. no delivery....these things are studly. lol Near Quantico
