If you follow their social media, and you’ve purchased anything from them, you’ll get the joke.

I had a softopper compatible bedrack on order. It was available on back order from the website. Order was placed on June 20th. I doubt it will come. I also unfortunately paid on a debit card. I submitted a claim for refund through my bank. We will see what happens though. Honestly I'm mostly pissed off about the fact that I'm probably not getting the product. All the available softop compatible bedacks on the market are not my taste and I liked mobtowns because it was different then all the competition. It was the only one I have found made of bent steel tube instead of the square aluminum. Either way lesson learned.

If they tried “very very hard” I assume that would mean communication with customers, that’s all I was asking. If anyone had been told anything my mobtown

Edit: appears they are doing the right things

It's all talk for now. When I see everyone taken care of I'll take the talk seriously. I know he's in Florida and done with Mobtown. If the few of you get paid then great. If not it's just another shitty business.

Shit. Sucks to see a company with solid products go under.

Well glad I got my rear single swingout bumper before the doors shut. Love the bumper, very high quality. I will say communication and follow up was a total shit show during the 9 months I waited for it to be built, until they hired that gal. She got things caught up and reached out and kept in touch with updates thereafter. Sad to see them go.

The reason fab shops take 6-9 months to make your product is because they already have your money up front. Like many other industries, if they took a 10-25% deposit, you can be certain they would finish your purchase as fast as possible to get the rest of their money.

I find this fact too be true.... considering where I live, a contractor cannot take/ask for more than a 10% deposit for a job, yet these fabricators all ask for 100% up front.
