Want to get the opinion of my fellow PA Taco brothers and sisters. I have a 2017 Off-Road and have been thinking of upgrading the halogen headlights to the OEM LED ones. I struggle to see at night at times and everything. Didn’t know if it might be the better option for me. Seems that overall it’s not a terrible job to do the swap. Seeing do you guys feel the investment is worth it or should I just stay with the halogen ones? Value your opinions and thoughts.

I haven't seen the comparison to give you a review either way but if they are OEM LEDs my thoughts are it's a better choice and be cheaper since they don't burn out as fast. The 2nd gens only came with halogen. If the 2nd gen had a "bolt on" LED headlight upgrade I'd do it.

The comparisons basically list them as basically one of the best lighting setups for these trucks. You could also simply switch to better bulb in the shitty regular housings, but said bulbs tend to have a significantly shorter lifespan.

That said I think the LEDs are still over 1k per side?

Thanks Adam, I can basically get both for about $1300. Figured either stay with halogens or upgrade for hopefully better seeing at night and better styling. Paid off my truck over a year ago and haven’t done much to it recently. Past two weeks I’ve bought a bunch to mod it and this was one of the bigger purchases I was thinking of. Just appreciate other Taco owners thoughts and opinions.
