I remember a post a while back asking about this feature but I haven't seen anyone implement it. I used oem Toyota vent 55680-17050-22 and did a little cutting and fitting and surprisingly it went together without much fuss. It simply fits into place and works great. Not sure if anyone else has done something similar here. 20220625_180257.jpg 20220625_174824.jpg 20220625_174649.jpg

    Ha! Well done!

How much is the strength of the leftmost vent impacted?

    Had a 100 series already, I'd probably do a 200 before I went for an 80. ❤️

Honestly, I couldn't notice any decrease in performance.

Cool little mod, does the vent have a way to close it or damper it down or is it blowing all the time the hvac is going?

It spins 360 degrees and a portion of it is blocked off so you can stop/minimize the airflow coming out.

I am seriously jealous my good man, would love to do this but I am not sure if my 2.5 gen will accommodate such a mod. Anyone know?

Certainly do miss this vent from my 4runner, with 3D printing these days...

I just might be curious enough to go see the ducting path on my 2010...

LOL My son has an ender 3 pro and I was totally prepared to learn how to use it for it. Luckily, fate was on my side and nothing needed to be added to make it work. It's just a snug fit into the cutout.

LOL not sure on their duct routing. It'd be cool if it was similar.

There is a vent down there in the middle it's got kind of a v split in it to direct flow to the left and right foot well areas but it's right there at the bottom of the steering column, feels like there is a stamped steel dubbler plate behind the plastic piece may have to go through that as well but I'm thinking it might be possible.
