35s, flatbed, rhino liner paint, SOS front bumper, JD Fab lca pivot, JD Fab inner fenders and some other stuff.
I think you missed the fact that he bobbed his bed and at that point fender flares are the least of your concerns.

but I'll personally never put them back on.
yes. that is garden edging and working like a boss. lol
but to each his own in this area, I'll probably end up cutting the fenders

Later in his comment he mentions the bobbed bed so I'm totally confused as to why he'd think that I thought the guy made a long bed into a short bed, in fact the more of his comment I read the more confusion I see, but whatever...

Don't flame me for being on 33s

There are many of us out there without flares. I used some plastic tabs from NAPA to fill the holes. I'm very happy with the look.

yes mine keep popping off in the wind and the clips are deteriorated. I think it will solve headache to just take them off.
am guessing those are tall skinnies with liners removed

I've cut the shit out of my fenders. I don't think mine looks particularly good but I have seen a bunch of 2 inch cuts that look amazing and you wouldn't be able to tell if you didn't know much about tacomas.

just ripped off my flares and liners
not sure if I should've kept the liners. And if the flares can sell for anything or should just be tossed in the trash
definitely looks better with the flares gone.

Which made me realize people may still be cutting at least 1" additional from the body itself even after flare delete
because the edge is rounded over towads the inside with mount holes where the liner clips would go.
There is nowhere to put edge trim.

It looks like it would have to be cut for there to be a bare edge (non rounded) to slide edge trim onto

For those running the KM3 in 37x12.50r17.
What does it actually measure height wise on the truck? Running Nitto trail grappler m/t in 35x12.50r17. They measure out to 34 on the truck, so curious what kind of difference I'm looking at before ordering the new tires.

Yeh, found that out during my search. But I really like my 16's so I had to eat the cost of the 16" options. 10 years ago there were alot of options, not sure why so many manufacturers moved away from them. Running into the same issue with BBK's, ended up with slightly smaller rotors, so I can still have my wheels.

With the added weight of the 37’s, a big brake kit becomes more of a want. Can’t fit a big brake kit under 16’s when the stock caliper is basically rubbing the wheel already. I think that’s why there’s a natural move to 17’s. Plus all the professional race series are based on the 17’s.
