I've always had the TRD level of Tacoma's and I was told they all came with stainless exhaust. Not sure about the SR models.
Hawaii rust isn't that big of an issue. Unless you plan on driving it in the ocean? We don't salt the roads here.
The standard exhaust on my older 4runner and 1st gen Tundra is still holding up just fine. Easy 10-15 years of life with only surface rust.
Also depends on what side of the island you plan to live? North shore has a lot of salt air. South shore you're good to go!

Trying to decide for the 2022 model.
Welp I'm getting my new taco tomorrow so super excited about that! Of course it came weeks early so now I have to rush things and make decisions hahahaha.
What do you all think about T&T tinting? I have quotes from them for their formula series of tints I am looking into but I am unsure if I should get the "AIR (Automotive Infra-Red) 80 Windshield Heat Blocker" for my windshield. Someone told me on their Honda Fit they get a weird glare/ ring effect around lights that throws them off. Do any of you have any advise either way?

Quotes: FormulaOne "Pinnacle" Ceramic Film $376.20 FormulaOne "Stratos" Ceramic Film: $555.75 AIR (Automotive Infra-Red) 80 Windshield Heat Blocker $225.00

Any OC-1 paddlers on here. Looking to get into it for exercise, getting tired of the SUP. Looking for advice on how to choose 1 for my needs. Paddled cple times with neighbors in KBAY so I have a little experience but I don't know much about them. Looking to start with a good used 1, not ready for a brand new $5k investment yet. Everything I see is low volume but I'm heavier than the avg 145-165lb guy these are made for, what works for 190-200lb? Not going to race or paddle to Molokai, just afternoon/ weekends runs in the bay. Appreciate any suggestions.

I would try to find a gen 1 pueo. I have paddled a lot of boats and they are the best in my opinion. Your not racing so even if it’s been repaired or a heavy boat it won’t matter.

That's great! My wife and I went paddling this morning and loved it. I think we'll be in the market for used boats soon.

Ya paddling was life before I messed up my back. Stroked channel couple years and swept a year in regatta season. Love pueo, I have a version 1 and 2 collecting dust. Just got an epidural and starting pt today hopefully can get back on the water soon

Hi everyone. I just recently got my 19 tacoma a couple days ago. I'm loving it so far but was wondering about something.

I've put on Thule Xsporter racks and was wondering about the gap from the edge of the rack to the back glass. It was installed for me but is a bit far because of the tie down on the wall of the bed. I was wondering if anyone has taken the tie downs out and if i need to fill the holes or can i just leave it open. I'm assuming that the leg of the rack will be covering it. Please let me know.

Anyone have recommendations for paint shops on Oahu? Need to get my roof repainted, got a few rust spots from rock chips around my windshield.

Baba's Auto Gloss paint matched a bunch of parts for me. Not cheap though, but they do phenomenal work.

Howzit! I upgraded from a 2006 Pre-Runner to a 2022 TRD Sport 4x4 (did really want a 4x4 but with limited stock i got what they had) ... I got new tires and rims to unload... If anyone know of someone looking for rims and brand-new tires, let me know...
