Working on a project for carrying a couple Wavian cans and my traction boards, what are your favorite stowage methods? I want them to be a little on the stealthy side so inside my bed and with the ability to convert Cans, Cans+Boards, and Boards alone.

they are listed on www.tacojerry.com and the base price is $79 I think but that includes all the mounting hardware you’ll need.

That rotopax setup is sweet. Look like it would even work with a camper shell too

Perfect thank you, can’t stand the roto pax. They charge an outrageous amount of money and they don’t even hold much of anything due to the size, yeah they are slim but who cares lol

I almost did that too but I have different size/shape containers and it cost too much buying different size holder for each container. I had some strut channel laying around. I install them about half way and this is perfect for securing most stuff. The top rail is useless to use in my case. It’s covered by the rack. Even if it’s not covered, I can’t tie down any gas/water can to it anyway. I’ve been in 2 trips with this setup and it hold up pretty well.

Agreed, they are expensive. But I think it does look nice though. For the price, I’m happy with what I have right now for a fraction of the price.

I have 3 jerry cans and a scepter water can ratchet strapped to the bed forward wall, did the White Rim road twice like that without issue
max trax are mounted upside down under my alu-cab topper

But it really depends on what else you will be carrying and how that packages in the bed
also a full jerry can weighs about 55lbs, does not seem like much but it adds up. better to be low and centered

They do look good and are the “style” right now and I think that’s the only reason they sell. Most people use the slim 1 gallon cans and that is just useless to me. I also don’t care much about how stylish I am, my truck looks like I’m a retired HVAC tech with the color matched topper lol and my wife is always complaining about what I’m wearing but if it works and it’s comfortable I’m happy in all aspects of life.

I agree with you about the price. Even the accessories are pricy. It was the foot print for me. They take up very little room. For space saving nothing comes close yet. Also all the different mounting options are a huge plus.
