I have a 2013 taco 4.0 auto.. About to do a fluid change. Wondering if I can use the 75w in my transfer case. I seen it was OK for the 3rd Gen but wondering if the 2.5 can take it with no issues since I have a liter.

    Thank you

Color matched door handles, Weathertech floor liners, bed mat, Durafit seat covers, tailgate clamp, 2016 TRD Sport 17" wheels with Yokohama Geolander AT tires , Toyota exhaust tip, Toyota/Yakima bike rail mount, Toyota wheel locks, Toyota hitch cover, Redline hood struts, unifilter on air pump.
I would use 75w90. It’s readily available and is what Toyota recommends.

75w-90 of what ever the cheapest synthetic gear oil (usually with LSD additive cus who cares) I can find at the time has been in my tcase for almost 100k miles after the initial change at 60k from factory fluid.

Shifts flawlessly whenever I wish from 2HI to 4HI to 4lo.

How often are you running 4wd? I live in Alaska and I run 4wd daily in the winter time of around 5-6 months.
